The Eternal Journey

The Eternal Journey

The magic called arranged marriage...

When I first agreed to meet her
just hearing from my cousin sister
overcoming my doubt and fear
That, to me, was magical.

As she came and sat before
our hearts spoke from the core
she then sang, and I gave a good score
That, to me, was magical.

my heart said, 'yeh dil maange more'
But they asked me to sing, I underscore
Before we could realize, we all went into a singing galore
That, to me, was magical.

My parents asked me 'kaisa hai'
and I expressed a mysterious sigh
before I said yes on a high
That, to me, was magical.

Then we kept talking for hours
discussing the future of ours
our talk-time helped airtel build towers,
That, to me, was magical.

And then came the D-day
amidst tons of troubles, what to say
But it was awesome, If i may say,
That, to me, was magical.

And then it was time to leave
She didn't weep, you won't believe
A sigh of relief I did heave
That, to me, was magical.

Happily married couple, we now are
Always in my heart, She's never afar
Jelled are we, forever,
That, to me, is magical.

That, to me, is forever magical.

Some people told me that married life is hell,
some others told me that it's heaven
I saw neither,
but never did I realize that it would be as good as what it is...
